Obviously I think it a huge error in judgement to not start with a clean slate by first declaring your intentions ( and then implemeting change ) .

- ( ie ; by saying " From this time forward now that I'm a moderator, there will be no more " yada yada yada, etc. " under my watch ) .
- Retro-active "policing" is not the way forward .
- Unfortunately, from this perspective, those "edits" appear to be nothing more than thinly disguised payback towards a current protaganist .

- The "appearance of your actions" is just as important as any actual action taken .

- It didn't have to start this way // rather than take the "obvious high-road" ( while laying out your intentions ) / you chose a different tack .
